Lovely, old, mysterious tree.....wonder what secrets it holds... Looks a bit like an old, wise witch! And PS, ref your comment; I LOVE the ocean - so if I lived in California, I would swim, swim, swim! 8-) (Visited as CA a teenager; lovely place - love the States; been there several times!)

@Wenche: Thank you...these old oaks dYes, if it could talk there would be many stories to tell. They are like great old elephants. In this part of California there isn't much ocean swimming. It's too cold. Thanks for your kind praise.

@MARIANA: Yes. It will be if there is still a bit of green left in it's branches. Oaks don't shed their leaves much. This one may just be getting too old for new leaves.
